New 80kN Supportwork System with Super-Stage HD

Form-Scaff’s new heavy duty 80kN Supportwork system offers customers a unique South African solution for high shoring loads.

Super-Stage HD is a Kwik-Stage based supportwork system with the same features and advantages as a European ‘ring type’ system.

The all new and patented Ledger end-fitting holds the key to the entire system. Having the ability to connect a system Brace to the back of the end-fitting (which correctly goes through the node point), enables the system to carry loads of up to 80kN – something that cannot be achieved with Tube and Fitting bracing. These high loads obviously also require a higher strength Standard and Jack.

Form-Scaff opted for a 60,3mm dia Standard and a patented twin tube Jack to achieve this. The combination of these two components coupled with the highly effective system Braces, ensures loadings and Jack run-outs that far out perform other similar heavy duty systems currently available in SA.

Super-Stage HD is based on a “one click” bracing system. Both the Diagonal – and Plan Braces can easily be fitted by one person as it simply “clicks” onto the next component that requires no tools. This is up to 50% faster than ‘wedge type’ bracing systems used by other companies.

Converting current Kwik-Stage stock into new Super-Stage is as simple as 1-2-3. The new Ledger end-fitting can be fitted to all existing Ledgers as it is press fitted and riveted onto the tube. Converting your existing Kwik-Stage stock will give you a system that matches new and modern ‘ring type’ Scaffolding / Shoring systems at a fraction of the price. It furthermore gives you a system that can be used for both light duty work (scaffolding and decking) as well as heavy duty shoring.

The Super-Stage HD Fork-Head allows 200 x 100 IPE beams to be used as main beams to support the formwork.
